	Simple hardware based solution... Go to Radio Shack and buy an adaptor
which takes mono and converts it to stereo. It's just a tip which fits
over the plug of your speakers/headphones.

	Like Rubywand said it could be corrosion on the plug or socket. It could
also be a broken wire making intermittent contact.
