Basic compilers?
Hi,
I'm interested in finding a DOS 3.3 Applesoft compiler. There are two on
Asimov that I know of, Hayden and Einstein. Both have problems, at least
for me.
Einstein works fine on my Apple II emulator which emulates a plus with a
language card, but just exits when I brun it on my real IIe. Hayden, on the
other hand, flat doesn't work. There are two copies of it, and on either
disk, when you run the compiler program, it just says "wrong disk" tells you
to check the disk and hit return. As far as I know there's nothing you can
do to convince it that this is in fact the right disk.
Is there perhaps some copy protection or something that isn't on the disk
image, which it needs? Since the program is a binary I can't very easily
find out what it's looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jayson.
