Hi Sean,

I'm not sure if you've figured this out yet or whether someone else
has given you an answer but from looking at the Modem MGR manual it
looks like you need to install a video driver to get 80 column text to
work.  If you didn't do this when you initially installed it, then
that is why you aren't getting 80 columns.

In case you don't already have it, either of these links will take you
