     If ADT says "error: not a 16-sector disk" it may be that the target
diskette has not been INITed. ADT expects to find a target diskette which has
been formatted for 35 tracks and 16 sectors per track. It can not write to a
blank diskette or to most copy protected diskettes.

     Another possibility is that an HD diskette may have been formatted (via
a DOS 3.3 INIT, Copy II Plus, ...) on a more modern 40-track disk drive but
is being used in a standard Apple II drive for the transfer. Standard Apple
II drives will not work with HD diskettes. The diskette needs to be a DD
(double density) diskette.
