I did that with a Disk II card and a II+. That was my first II+.
I'd picked up a motherboard, keyboard and power supply. No case,
the whole thing was laid out on a towel on a table. I finally got
a Disk II card and put it in the slot backwards. A day later I
replaced some chips and was back up and I was looking for a case
so this wouldn't happen again.
