Some new arrivals!

Looks like my Apple II hobby is erm, getting somewhat carried away. First,
it looks like I should have a Transwarp GS soon - if I succeed in getting a
SCSI card I'll be over the moon - I have found one I want on eBay but I'll
probably be outbid, I always am.

Second, one of my collector friends in the UK found a //e enhanced for me to
play with (I've got a Platinum on the way of course, in exchange for a
Workstation card - I tested all of the cards today and every one worked,
though one crashed a couple of times so I put it aside). //e enhanced might
be an understatement - he wanted to know what the cards were. Usual
Grappler, Cirtech 80 column, Apple I/O (I'm guessing that's a duodisk card
since a duodisk was in the same pile), Apple mouse. Some other cards... One
with 4Mb RAM on it from Cirtech, and some Applied Engineering card with 256K
RAM, a bunch of dipswitches and a 65C02 on it...

...which sounds very suspiciously like a Transwarp to me ;)

Not mine to keep, but I get to look after them and use them.

BillG might be interested to know - for Mac OS experimentation - that I
found that OS X Panther does install and run quite respectably on a beige G3
system. Those are cheap in the UK, �15-60.
