My thought was to get an RCA to RCA _VIDEO_ cable.I have had many 'audio' RCA to RCA cables that were custom or thin that did not have a shield, only dual conductors. Yes, the braided outer wire of a 'standard' RCA cable is in fact a shield of sorts and does reduce some interference. However, the standard audio cable is not normally a solid shield.
You definately want a SOLID shield to prevent transmission and reception of unwanted signals. Video cables are designed to not only reduce interferance to and from the cable, but also are designed to carry the video frequencies. The audio cables I have had experience with are generally poor at allowing video frequencies through. It's close enough when using a monitor which limits bandwidth, but you will _see_ a difference when using a TV or other composite video monitor.
