Don't think I was making the assumption that it was erased, because I don't
beleive it was. As far as I know, on May 10th, 1990 it was disconnected,
tagged, put in a box and sat on a shelf for four and half years, returned to
me where I opened the box, decided it had no future, closed the box and put
it in storage.

Off hand I'd have to say these guys (the secret service) had no clue about
apple's or macintosh. I really beleive they were expecting some unix box and
were disappointed with the results of the sweep.
