: The ones i think i've come across are in .dsk format or .sea
format, but i
: can't figure out how to extract them... the sea doesn't self
extract... and

files...

The SEA file extracts on the IIgs by itself. Just run it.
The DSK writes to a 5.25 or 140K disk on the Apple II by using
ADT.
DiskDup+ only does 800K images such as IMG files on the Mac.

If you are downloading the SHK files to a Mac then writing them
to
a ProDOS formatted floppy, the filetypes are probably getting
ruined
by the forking process. You need to write only the data fork of
the
file to the floppy. I'm a little vague on how this is done, as it
has been 2 years since I've had to deal with this issue. Now I
only
have to download to PC, write files to MS-DOS disk, and read them
on the GS using Superdrive and Peter Watson's Mug!.
