hi all,

I just bought :
- an apple IIe
- a super serial card

I already have a null-modem cable (female db25 or db9 to female db25 or db9)

seems the super serial card has a FEMALE connector !

will a simple male-male adapter do the trick ? or are PC's null modem cable
incompatible with apple II SSC card, and only self made cables work ?

Yeah, I ran into the same problem - most off-the-shelf null modem cables have female DB25's too. So you can either

1. buy a "gender changer"
2. get custom cables
3. use a standard PC modem cable, and turn the jumper block on the SSC to point to terminal.

I went for 3.

hope that helps
