Ok, first, does the SCSI card have the term power 
mod. It's a diode attached to the back and supplies 
term power to the circuit. My web site has docs on 
how to do that. 

Second, do you have proper termination. You need a 
terminator between the SCSI card and Hard Drive, and 
another between the zip drive and Hard Drive. Unless 
the HD has it's own built in then only need one after 
the HD and before the ZIP. 

Once you answer these questions then we'll mess around 
with it some more.  :o)
