I miss you guys too and with wise arse remarks like that I now miss
you less too. :-)

There was even more smoke this year than the first year you did the
Kookout. I definitely don't remember there being that much smoke in
2001. There was smoke, just not that much. :-)
I can't remember now who footed the bill for that first year. I
remember seeing that all that was available was the meat from the
grill so I ran back up to my room and grabbed some chips I had brought
with me.

That's wild. It is great to hear that there are no smokers there.
Maybe the anti-smoking advertisements and such are actually starting
to work. Mind you, I don't think the group that goes to KFest is
really representative of the population at large. :-)

That's just wrong. Sleep depravation is integral to KFest. I think
it was during KFest 2000 that I pulled an all nighter working on my
HackFest project and still stayed up until after midnight the
following day. That KFest memory has kind of a dreamy quality to it
now. :-)

Steve's keynote sound very interesting. I'm hoping Sheppy gets his
videos sorted out and available fairly quickly so I can check out the
sessions this year. I imagine he'll be selling a DVD through the
Syndicomm online store.

Having heard about these sessions already, they sounded great. I'm
hoping Geoff's modifications to KEGS get released soon as that sounds
wonderful.

I don't think there is much that will be able to stop me from being
there next year. You guys just let me know the dates and I'll do
whatever it takes to be there.
