How did you do this? I have a Quadra 610 running 7.1 on my network as a
"bridge" for the GS connected to the Quadra via Appletalk.
Here's what I have:
Windows Server 2003 running Services for Macintosh
UAM volumn set up on the server that the Mac can see (this is all the mac
can see)
The GS can see the Mac's hard drive just fine, but it can't see past the
mac.
I created an Alias on the Mac's drive that when you double-click on it, it
opens up the UAM folder on the Server, but the GS can't see this Alias.
So...what I have to do to transfer files is:
1. copy any files I need to the UAM folder on the Server
2. Go to the mac and copy the files to the local hard drive
3. Then go to the GS and copy the files down from the mac.
I know there's got to be a way to see the Server directly from the GS, but
I've yet to figure it out.
