Do you know if the Q-RAM IIe is softswitch-compatible with Apple's 1MB
AUX RAM card, or the RAMWorks series from Applied Engineering, or do
each of these card families employ their own home-grown control methods
that make software compatibility a PITA? (I assign a 99% probabiliity to
the latter, but thought I'd ask).
Would anyone care to do a knowledge dump about the various AUX RAM
cards, how they work, how common applications can take advantage of them
etc.?
I suppose they MUST conform to Apple's specification to some extent at
least, if only to support DHRG?
