I use an ELITE ONE drive as Drive 1, which loads a modified version of DOS
3.3 so that it can use an ELITE THREE as a DS/DD drive. I have set it up so
that once DOS loads, the 'HELLO' program (on drive 1) automatically selects
drive 2 as the default and runs the hello (?D$;"RUN HELLO, S6, D2") from the
second drive.
Every time I use PRODOS I have to settle for the two drives being SS/SD
which is a 'bummer' since PRODOS can manage very large drives and directory
trees.
I am not familiar with the functionning of PRODOS (or DOS for that matter)
to rewrite the code so it can use the ELITE THREE as DS/DD.
Anyone familiar with these drives and PRODOS which could shed some light on
this subject would be appriciated.
Thanks,
~Robert~
