While PC boards (if well made) are undoubtedly cleaner
looking than perfboard construction, I lay out a circuit
on perfboard just as I would a PC board, and, if wired
neatly, is just as solid and reliable as a PC board.
The result is that the component side of my perfboards
looks as nice as a PC board, and the "solder" side
looks pretty good.
The real kicker is that I can design a circuit after lunch,
lay it out, wire it up, and be using it before dinner.
