I managed to do a black monitor for my b+h without killing myself... one
thing I found is that the darker parts of the case (on the back) reacted
with the paint and looked all bumpy and quite ugly...
I'd actually recommend masking rather than disassembling... I painted a
Mac Classic recently and it was much faster (and safer) with just
masking it... got a bit sloppy in the corners of the screen, but it's
easy to scrape off excess with a razor.
