The big problem was lack of standard protocols like X-modem, Y-modem,Z-modem for transferring files. I don't think Y-modem and Z-modem werearound yet at the time, but I think X-modem was, and so was Kermit.

Not supporting these file transfer protocols was pretty muchinexcusable. }:)
