Fruity Dog Mailer

Hello all, Im the long lost author of the apple ][ fido mailer "Fruity Dog".

Ive been kinda gone for a while, and wanted to get in touch with someone
regarding the mailer and the future of it.

I think I have found the source code for the mailer, and if this turns out
to be true, I would like to release it and the rights to it to someone who
would appreciate it, and possibly continue work on it.

A little background on the mailer.

The last version released, required GBBS or Evans derivitive of it.
It was also very very close to being able to run without using gbbs as a
host.

The entire fruity dog mailer package ran under a language refered to as
"shell" which was a very powerful bbs language in itself, it was designed to
eventually replace gbbs. About the only thing that would need to be done,
would be to finish up the compiler and write the bbs code. Shell is written
in 65C02 code intermixed with shell code (shell was actually somewhat
written in itself, weird concept, but it worked great).

Assuming I can get my hands on the code (It should be on a hard drive array
that I just got back in my possesion), in the case the code is there, if
anyone would like to discuss taking the code and working with it, please
email me (yllar@yllar.mine.nu). What am I asking in return?

1. My name remain on the modules as the original author. (you can add
"modified by ???") or such, but I must insist credit is given for the
original work.

2. The person who accepts the code, continues development.

3. Cost? (FREE, I originally wrote the code as a bet with a long time
friend,("Terry Clabaugh"), sysop of a board here in danville, who passed
away before he could see the final product). I never intended to make money
or the like with the project, it became much much more than originally
anticipated.

I was very very surprised to see that people are still using the code, and
were trying to find me a while back. Im alive and well (although I have been
declared "deceased" by all the majour credit agencys..long long long story),
I would also be available to give the person a hand to understand the code..

HIGHGHLY optimized coding, for speed and code size
