He probably means it's good, but someone with
reduced visual capacity might have trouble seeing
it correctly. I have a 9" greyscale monitor from
an ultrasound system that is very good at 80 column,
but you have to get in very close to read it correctly.
I've considered getting a magnifier lens to place in
front of it so I can see it from farther away.  :o)
Staples sells one that might do the job.
