Re: Frustrated: Can't get DOS anywhere
You don't need any boot disks on the Apple to make ADT work. You can
download it straight to Apple's RAM via the serial port. (Just do an IN#2
from the Applesoft prompt, and do a text file transmission from the PC side
to send the ADT code straight to Apple RAM). You can then use ADT to
transfer over any disk image you want and write it to a floppy on the Apple.
It's a neat, clean bootstrap for people who have Apples but nothing
whatsoever on disk.
