You know what might have been kinda fun... Make a little card for yourII that has some flash memory and a jumper cable from the video ROM sothat you could map the video memory into the system memory so that youcould change the characters on-screen under program control.

Of course, other computers from the day could do this (C-64, etc) but itwould have been fun on an Apple II.
