I can't tell you how good this question made me feel.

Looking back on my hard drive, it looks to me that "The French Connection"
article I wrote for inCider (back in August, 1990) was the very first
"Shareware Solutions" column that was published in that magazine.

And, to have someone refer to that article, 14 years later, made my day.
Thank you!

I have too big of a stack of inCider's to easily find the article that
appeared, but the one I submitted (before any editing) is on my hard
drive. Re-reading the words I wrote 14 years ago, it looks like I had 2
purposes...to let folks know about the FTA's software for both the IIe and
IIGS. But, my main motivation was to let Americans know of some great
software for the IIe, and so the extent of the article was just about
Flobynoid and Tetris2. But, it being my first column, I had to put in
background info as well.

In any case, no one has ordered a "French Connection" disk from me in a
few years, but sure, it's still available from Shareware Solutions II. For
the usual $5, which includes postage to anywhere.

Although at some point I just gave up trying to maintain a complete
listing of the freeware/shareware/public domain software, there is a
catalog of sorts at: http://users.foxvalley.net/~joko

Thanks, Jean-Marc, for the stroll down memory lane ;-)

And, a question for you: Does the French IIGS user group still exist?
