Have you been using different disks, or just writing new disk images to
the same disk? Just in case it's a faulty disk.
It could also be a memory fault in the top 16KB of RAM. DOS 3.3 doesn't
use it, but ProDOS does. Have you run the built-in diagnostics on the
IIe? Hold down both apple keys and press control-reset. It tests the
first 128KB of memory and the MMU and IOU chips. After running for about
a minute it should print "System OK" on the screen.
