:
: thanks to all for your informations, I'm going to print your
messages
: and put them in my little A2 archive.
: My eprom burner can't burn eproms greater than 2764 (it's an
AP-64) so
: at the moment I can't copy IIgs roms but I'm sure that I'll be
able to
: find the images somewhere if I'll ever need. Instead I've made
a
: complete back-up of my IIe roms (which is the one I mainly
use). I'm
: also sure that all informations about adapting eproms to use
them in
: the ][+ could turn very useful one day.
Another method for using 2716 eproms in a II+ is
to get a ROM card, set the jumpers to allow F8,
and the use of 2716s in it. Now you can not only
have 2716 eproms containing your firmware, but you
can have changes in the firmware and switch back
and forth between your changes and the original.
The coolest part is, you can use the ROM card in
your IIe and run it like a II+. Sort of. :o)
