At one time I was so sick of them analog cards. I worked for a guy in Fort
Worth back in the mid 80's that had several thousand of them he wanted me to
look at. They had gone through the "bed of nails" test at Apple in Carrollton,
TX, and were labeled with the test results, static bags and packed away in them
huge 4 foot square Gaylord boxes. He had several of them full. I sorted them
out by symptom, according to the test program, and found a couple of hundred
that said they had a shorted resistor. Apple had replaced the resistor, and
retested them. Same resistor shorted. The resistor was in parallel with a
transistor, which was the culprit, of course.

When I had my shop, and worked for others, I always found it easy to fix, say
15-25 of one item, and put them on the "good" shelf, and go on to the next
item. Just wished the market was still there for it, but stuff is so much
easier to replace than repair.
