I am not sure what to do with the floppy drives. I will study the technical
manuals and determine what is damaged. I see a 74LS125 driving the interface to
the cpu, easy to replace. Also a ULN2003  on the board.  I hope to have one of
the drives be usable again as external drive on another IIc , but I will only
connect any when I am completely sure about the health. . 

If you have an Apple II with slots and a spare disk II card then you can
use the cable from a Disk II drive and try the IIc drive with the Disk
II card without risking another IIc
