For me the inline slots wouldn't be a problem as my main purposes would be curiosity and as a topic for an Apple II meeting. Also I have a number of IIe. If you decided to go for it then it wouldn't have to be a platinum IIe motherboard. If you preferred it could be an ehhanced IIe with the CD & EF ROMs or even an earlier unenhanced one. Wayne
