Ok, now I'm stumped. :)
At the moment, I have only a PC running Linux -- I run the excellent
KEGS emulator under that platform.
So I created a 32 MB ProDOS image file with 'to_pro -32000', installed
System 6.0.1 on it... no problem. But it isn't bootable; I presume
that's because it isn't a 2IMG disk image file.
So I need to convert the ProDOS image file to 2IMG, then boot off that.
I've run Sheppy's ImageMaker app to create a 2IMG image of the newly
built boot volume. That worked fine.
Unfortunately, it created it as an image file on another ProDOS volume.
So either I need to transfer the .2img image file back to the Linux box
(host environment) or I need to find a way to convert from ProDOS to
2IMG encoding.
Suggestions?
(It's too bad the LanceGS Ethernet card low-level details aren't
publically known or someone might be able to write a driver for it via
KEGS, and then could FTP files to/from the machine.)
