looking for boot screens - good enuff for wallpapers (or animated GIFs of same)

yes, i am cross posting this to multiple comp.sys.* groups but let me finsih
before you flame me (sheesh):

i've searched and googled and searched but can't find any decent boot up or
start up screenshots of the various classics that look good as (800*600) or
(1024*768) wallpaper (even some 640*480 would do) but most are thumbnails
(320*200) or smaller and don't look good as stretched wallpaper.  Alta Vista
which has the best wallpaper search (IMHO) and couldn't find anything there
either that pertained to the classics (except boot screens for ms dos, ms
windows, etc.but not the classics).  i've come across multiple sites with
screen shots of games and apps and stuff but no screen shots of boot screens
or startup screens that would make good wallpaper (too small or too blurry).

can anyone help ? (please share your links here as others may be interested)

...interestingly enough i've come across several screen savers but no boot
up or start up screen shots.
