    This printer controller card in slot one or two will work with Canon
printer fine without any problems.  It looks like that Canon printer needs
driver, but you still can communicate through printer controller card
however, it will only print in text mode.  You have to modify or add driver
to any software such as Print Shop that will support to print in graphic
mode.  I have done it with my Apple IIgs.  I used Epson driver in GS/OS and
Canon printer printed nicely.
    You still can expand memory up to 256KB on Apple II+ using slot 0, but
Saturn controller card can only swap 16KB RAM between 64KB and 256KB.  Other
option is to use AE RAMFactor controller card.  It can expand up to 1MB
while you run AppleWorks on Apple II+!!
