     For sure the most convenient setup would be to have a
CGA monitor connected. My card didn't come with the cables;
and, anyway, I don't have a CGA monitor. So, adding the
composite color monitor was the way to go.

     Yeah; the mod has been spread around. It works fine in
terms of getting a sharp, stable display. Would be nice to
get the correct colors, too.

     Even so, you'd think the composite color output would be
the same as for a real Apple II. Maybe the card is some
weird PAL model.
