     You would probably be better off with a diskette that boots a small
version of Sys 6.0.1. You need to transfer just one 3.5" diskette; and,
there is no need to go through an install to diskette. See ...

http://apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/Sel/GettingSys601.htm .

     As Greg says, a snag could be transferring 3.5" diskettes-- e.g. as
.shk, .sdk, .bxy, .2mg files.

     For PC--> IIgs, the transfer will require a telecom program other
than ADT. Modem MGR and ZLink are a couple possible choices which are
free and which can be transferred via ADT. See ...

     One problem could be that 3.5" (800k) .2mg files contain 819,264
bytes. That's bigger than the capacity of a standard IIgs 3.5" diskette.
Fortunately, a .2mg ProDOS file will often occupy a good deal less space;
and, you will often be able to transfer such files to an Apple IIgs 800k
diskette if you use a protocol which does not pre-send size information,
such as X-modem.
