Re: Slots in IIgs



    Do you want to redesign Apple IIgs that it will support 16 slots?  Think
about Intel.  Intel supports up to 65,536 ports.  How do you overcome the
limit?  In fact, Apple IIgs does not need 256 bytes of ROM per slot, but it
can be up to 1MB of ROM per slot that it is mapped into banks.  Think about
this.
