So far you are the expert on forth. Thanks for the vlist command.
I can understand why it gained the reputation as a write only language.
You were right it isn't dos3.3 or prodos but writes to disk blocks
under its own control.

I was pleasently surprised to find AppleWin has the source available.

I like its debugger but haven't studied the code.

I've been inserting debug instructions at curious points.

TOPO will recognize the SSC in slot 2. It sets the port to 19,200  8/N/1.
Still looking for what it does next that crashes the program.

It loads at $800 and after trying 2 setup-serial-slot  it warps out
in a deathspiral loop centered around $F16.

Maybe an inspiration tomorrow.
