Now, there's a possibility those disks in your possession contain early Mac software. If so, then they could be single- or double-sided, double-density; either 400K or 800K.

Those disks had 1 MB capacity. MS DOS used only 720k, MacOS used 800K and AmigaOS used 880K. The disks are physically the same anyway.
