Thanks for the responses, all.. I forgot about the disk speed trick, I'll
try that with Locksmith 6.0. Copy II+ seems like a non-starter, unless
Boulder Dash is listed in an earlier version (like 7.0) that I can xfer over
via ADT?
I may see if C2+ has any other contemporary Micro Fun titles listed and see
if those parameters work - does anyone know whether the programmer or the
company was responsible for the disk protection? Would a smallish company
like Micro Fun be likely to use the same protection techniques on different
game disks?
I've forgotten what little I knew about Apple DOS and cracking - it looks
like I may need to take a crash course if Locksmith doesn't pan out! :-)
