Re: What's wrong with my IIgs?



See if this works...

Take the top off the GS
Take all the cards out
On the motherboard, firmly press on all the socketed chips.  You should feel
and hear them settle further into the sockets.  This is called "re-seating
the chips".
Turn the power back on and see if you can boot the GS, or at least get a
basic prompt or error message
If it works, re-seat the chips in each card you took out, and put them back
in one at a time, testing the GS between each one.
Hopefully, this will get you back up and running.  It has worked for me
countless times.  Good luck.
