That used to be the case.
But these days, Macs all come with CD-RWs, and include Toast software.
With the Toast drivers installed, all partitions come right up on the Mac
desktop.
Then again, since I'm not a Mac expert, maybe I should just say that on
the 3 Macs I've owned, all with a CD-R attached, that's how it works.
