I wonder if the the files are getting forked at some point in the
transfer chain... try running them through UNFORKIT first. I seem to
recall having similar trouble with binscii. You might have better luck
searching out a SHRINKIT archive of the same file (if available).
One thing to watch out for with SHRINKIT is that although it will decode
BINSCII files, they are not shown as available by default -- I think you
have to hit [OpenApple-A] to see them in the selection menu.
