Thanks for visiting Willi.  I appreciate that and your candor.

I agree that there is a potential problem with the scope of the forums and
dilution from that but I've decided that a general forum with specific
discussion areas is what I want to host.

The alternative would be a forum dedicated to one or two topics (such as
Apple, CP/M or something like it) and that wouldn't reflect my interests.

I like to think that there are others like me out there that are into the
genre of vintage computing rather then the specifics of one make or model.
The latter types can still benefit from the forums, of course, but the more
broad-based interests would obviously be able to get more from the boards.
