Ok, now here's a really stupid question that I know has been asked in
CSA2 many times before:

Will a Hard Disk 20 work with a IIc+?

I know it won't, but I want to know why not. I saw at least one web
site that said it would (can't remember which one) but it might have
been written by a mac user. Is it a hardware problem - in that case is
it possible to upgrade or modify either the computer or the drive - or
is it a software problem, and if so, why hasn't anyone written a patch
or driver yet? I'm shure there's a good reason after all these years,
but what?
