That is unusual for a PC drive.  Sony is the only company I'm
familiar with that made auto-eject drives, though there must have
been others.

Since no Apple II application or OS and no PC OS requires
auto-eject, perhaps it's an option you can do without...

I can see a serial number bar code, but no manufacturer or model
code.
