Archiving old magazines on website

Hello all,
I recently started looking into archiving old computer magazines on a
website.  One of my favorite magazines was Compute!, as well as some
of their books.  But there are other magazines out there as well.
Personally I am a long-time user of the Apple II series, but I wanted
to inquire to users in these groups that have other computers as well,
to see if there was a broad interest in this.  I would think there
would be a use for having some of these old publications in digital
format, online.

I own a web hosting and design company, so I have the means to do
this.

I understand there are still some existing copyrights to some of these
out-of-print publications that need to be adhered to.  But I have
already started looking in to this on some.

Anyway, I'd like to hear what others have to say about this, and if
there is a demand for it.  I'm willing to pursue this further if there
is a demand.
