OK, it's been way too long, but I think there is a trick in ProSel's Cat
Doctor for getting rid of a file like that.
In Cat Doctor, Sort the directory that file is in, moving that file to
the bottom of the directory. When it's there, press Open-Apple Delete
(or maybe it's just Delete or Control Delete or something like that.
It's been too long to remember for certain.) The file should go away.
You'll probably want to verify the volume in Mr. Fixit(?) afterwards if
that worked.
Otherwise, there is the disk editing option of Block Warden and renaming
the file by editing the bytes in the directory entry.
