Getting ap222pc on the Applle II

I'm having a bunch of trouble getting ap2222pc working. I tried typing in
the top half of the loader.asm file into the A2 and then typing 300G, but
nothing happens.
Heres what I've been doing exactly.
Start both comps
type Call-151 on the a2
type in lne by line the first half of loader.asm
starting ap2222pc on the pc
typing 300G on the a2
I've done this twice and nothing happens at all. I've verified my game port
connections and they are correct. What am I doing wrong?
