Steve:I understand you issue, my pet peeve is that CSA2.Binaries has not been shut down yet. What a waste of bandwidth these people have perpetrated.
I believe posting the scan images there (in whatever format) is appropriate since they are images that relate to the Apple II. I thinke your argument about format would be justified if the images had ever been usable on an Apple II. Unfortunately the scans are in JPG format and not decodable by the vast majority of Apple II computers. To use these files requires an A2 accessory such as a Mac or PC, with one of these, the information is quite recoverable.
Don't fret, sometime in the futurre, I will be attempting to OCR the magazines. At that time, I can guarantee that you will be able to get them to and use them on your Apple II.
