You will have to partition the hard drive which will destroy the
data on it.

You might consider adding an external hard drive to the LC III with
one or more ProDOS partitions.

Or... prepare an external hard drive with ProDOS partitions and a Mac
partition, copy all your Mac files to it, and install this drive in
the Mac in place of the original hard drive.  You can upgrade the
Mac to a larger capacity hard drive at the same time.
