: Hi!
:
: I frequently switch from no RAMDisk to a maximum RAMDisk,
and
: back, on a IIgs. When I go into the Control Panel and set up a
big
: RAMDisk after not having one, "/RAM5" will appear after a
re-boot.
: But if I try to get rid of "/RAM5" by using the Control Panel
to set
: the minimum and maximum RAMDisk to zero, I can't get "/RAM5" to
go
: away unless I shut off the power on the IIgs. Oh, yeah, it's a
ROM 01
: system. Anyone know of a program to get rid of "/RAM5" while
keeping
: the power on?

It's been a while since I had a ROM01 running, but
on the RAMDISK page of the Conrol Panel there is a
switch at the bottom that says "Resize after reset".
If you set this to "Yes" then it will set it to the
new size without shutting down. Let me know if the
ROM01 also has this. Thanks.
