Hey, folks
I've built a new website that is focused only on Apple II clones, and I'm
hoping that some of you might be willing to send me some pictures of your
own clones so that I can add them to the site for reference. So far, I've
found pictures of more than 100 different clones but there are probably 100
more that I don't have pictures of. Wayne Stewart sent me a bunch of
pictures of clones that I had never even heard of, and I've added them to
the site for others to references. Thanks, Wayne.
This website is meant to be a simple reference site, as well as a general
repository of information about Apple II clones. I've tried to gather
together as much of the widely scattered information on clones as I could
find, and bring it all together in one location, and so far, I've been able
to gather a ton of content for the site. I'm still in the process of adding
this content to the site, and it's coming along nicely (I think.)
The kind of stuff that I'm looking for are pictures, documentation,
software, magazine ads, and anything else that somebody somewhere might
like to look at or use. I'm also looking for additions to my own clone
collection, of course, and if anyone would like to sell, trade, or donate
an old Apple II clone to this site, I would be very happy.
So send me those pictures, folks. Show off that prized clone. You'll get
full photo credits, and you'll be furthering a good (and interesting)
cause.
E.
P.s. -Some of you have seen the new site but I don't want to publish it
until I've finished adding the content, and acquired the new domain name.
I'm guessing that it will be a week or two before it's ready.
You can reply to this email but remove the NOSPAM from the address.
Thanks!
